Peninsula Horse Riders Club
The Peninsula Horse Riders Club (PHRC) was formed in 1977 and is one of the founding clubs of the Horse Riding Clubs Association of Victoria (HRCAV).
Our Mission is to create and provide a fun, educational supportive equine community for people of all levels and HRCAV aligned disciplines.
An active Peninsula Horse Riders Club member is someone who shows active willingness and committed input to being involved in the club and membership community.
PHRC is situated at the purpose built 8.5 Ha Langwarrin Equestrian Reserve and shares the grounds with the Langwarrin Pony Club.
The Clubs enjoy some of the best facilities in the area, including three huge all weather sand arenas and a cross country course.
The XC course meanders through the gullies and trees of the reserve and includes a multi-faceted water obstacle, split level banks and other interesting jumps with challenges for all levels of riders.
The size and number of sand arenas allows us to conduct dressage as well as showjumping at the same time. Parking is plentiful and there are also some yards available. Other facilities include clubrooms with outdoor seating.
Members of PHRC can enjoy use the grounds year round by purchasing a key (check details and conditions here)
PHRC is an adult riding club. Members and guest riders must be 16 years of age or over to join or ride in lessons at our rallies. Children under 16yo must be supervised at all times.
Rallies are held on the 1st Wednesday, 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday of the month.
